Schertz Public Library offers two options for the community to meet in groups – study rooms and meeting rooms.

Study Rooms

  • We have 10 small study rooms, and 2 group study rooms. The small study rooms accommodate two people maximum, and the group study rooms accommodate six people maximum.
  • Small study rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations needed.
  • The 2 larger group study rooms must be reserved online. Visit LibraryCalendar to reserve.
  • Their intended use is for study, work, quiet activity, or small group collaborative work. Use of the rooms is not permitted for any other purpose.
  • See our full Study Room Policy for more information.

Meeting Rooms

  • We have 2 meeting rooms that can be reserved by the public. Meeting Room 1 can accommodate up to 48 people with chairs only, or up to 20 people with 10 tables and 2 chairs per table. Meeting Room 2 can accommodate up to 40 people with chairs only, or up to 16 people with 8 tables and 2 chairs per table.
  • To request use of a meeting room, visit LibraryCalendar. All applicants must have a valid Schertz Public Library card. Library card credentials (barcode and pin) must be entered on the online reservation form. For assistance with requesting a meeting room, email libraryreservations@schertz.com.
  • Their intended use is for general informational, educational, cultural, and civic needs. No commercial, sales, or profit-making uses of the meeting rooms are allowed, nor can the rooms be used for private parties.
  • Meeting room usage is free to residents of the cities of Schertz, Cibolo, and Selma, or residents of Guadalupe County. All other persons are required to pay a meeting room rental fee of $50.00 per 4 hour block of time. A valid library card is still required for persons outside of the library's service area.
